Over Teacher Appreciation Week, one of our teachers was recognized by the Educational Enrichment Foundation. Congratulations to Gabriele Kunk, who earned the Evelyn Jay Excellence in Education Award!

Multiple schools across the district were visited to celebrate TUSD teachers who earned National Board Certification. Coordinated by the AZK12 Center, this statewide recognition honors a major professional achievement. Congratulations to Karyn White for renewing her certification!

Mrs. Lenard is the new Exceptional Ed primary teacher for Whitmore. She retired from TUSD after 20 years and is back now doing what she loves!
Her students love watching and learning how to care for the "Three Amigos": Ned, Dusty and Lucky, Mrs. Lenard's fish friends.
