Our Principal
Ms. Figueroa has been with Tucson Unified School District since 2004. She earned her bachelor's degree at Marshall University in West Virginia, and two master's degrees from the University of Phoenix.
Ms. Figueroa was a finalist for the district K-8 Principal of the Year during the 2015 school year. She implements and organizes sports and STEM programs throughout the day.
Ms. Figueroa is honored to be back at Whitmore Elementary School for her 6th year, as this is where her teaching career began as a 5th grade teacher.
