About Our School

What Makes Us Special

At Whitmore Elementary, home of the Wildcats, we are Wild about Wonder! Our dedicated educators are committed to creating a vibrant, student-centered learning environment where curiosity leads the way.

We believe learning is most meaningful when students can make connections across disciplines. Our teachers strive to integrate reading, writing, math, science, and social studies together through authentic, real-world experiences. By honoring each child's unique strengths and pace, we facilitate instruction that supports, challenges, and empowers each student to take ownership of their learning journey.

Whitmore is a proud OMA (Opening Minds through the Arts) Gold School. Each Wildcat participates in visual arts and theater courses, and our older students have the opportunity to explore instrumental music. Through our 21st Century Learning Grant, we are able to offer before and after school academic support as well as enrichment classes and athletics.
